BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
Group: Buffy Summers/Kendra Young
I would love something where Kendra survives - where does their relationship go then? How does that change the course of Buffy's life? I would love anything with them learning to be a team and getting to fight vampire crime together. I'd also love something where they pull a living Kendra out of another timeline or dimension. Or, I would love something where either one of them is turned and the other has to deal with that - do they shove a soul back in the other, or just have to accept that their friend is gone? I would also love something where Kendra still dies - slayers have dreams about the others, does Buffy ever have dreams about Kendra's life? Or does Kendra's ghost try and help her out? Or, what if Buffy dies and it's Kendra who has to take her place on the Hellmouth and figure out how to carry on her legacy? I'd also love anything that leans in on that mystical slayer connection they share.
DCEU
Nuidis Vulko
I love him, I would love to read more about him - what was his early relationship with Atlanna like, how did he feel when she left, or when she died? Or something with him helping train Arthur, or helping to train Mera. Or what about Orm - was he hoping Orm would be less like his father? When did he decide that Arthur taking the throne was the only choice? Or I would love something with him and Mera laying out their planes to save Atlantis from a war with the surface world! I would also love something with him set post-movie, maybe how he feels about Atlanna actually being alive, or how helping Arthur with all the work of being king, or planning out the future of the kingdom with Mera. Or maybe hashing out all the years of deceit with Orm? I would also love more world-building about what Atlantis is like, at least in his experience of it.
Tom Curry
I was honestly stunned he survived the movie, and also very happy about it! I feel like out of everyone, he's the normal guy thrown into something completely outside his frame of reference, and I would love more of how his life went - slice of life with him falling in love with Atlanna, or having to raise Arthur on his own after she left, finding out about her death. Does he worry about Arthur eventually going back under the sea? What was it like for him having to worry that he was going to lose his son? Or what are he and Atlanna doing now that she's back? I would also love to see him getting to go to Atlantis and see the place that's so important to the rest of his family, and getting to experience all those wonders. Or just more of what life in the lighthouse is like?
Group: Nuidis Vulko/Tom Curry/Atlanna
I would LOVE to see all three of them together - what if Vulko visited her sometimes when she was hiding out from Atlantis? Maybe he helped her to escape in the first place? Maybe, after she was taken back under the sea, he carried messages between her and Tom? Or after she died, was he the one to tell Tom and Arthur? Or maybe they bond while he's training Arthur in how to fight like an Atlantean! Or, something set after the movie - slice of life in the surface world now that there's no looming threat of war with the surface world? Or something with Atlanna bringing Vulko down to Atlantis and showing him around!
Group: Diana (Wonder Woman)/Mera (DCEU)
I have so many ideas! Maybe there's some kind of Atlantis/Themyscira alliance and they meet that way, or there is some kind of mythological threat to both their kingdoms and they meet that way? Or maybe Diana is looking for the island and goes to Mera for help since it's not on any human maps or detectible by human device. Or, politically, maybe Diana has more inroads in the surface world so Mera goes to her for help protecting the oceans? I can also see them meeting or bonding over ancient archaeology - Mera has a lot to teach her about Atlantic myth and legend, and Diana can do the same for ancient legends lost to modern civilization. They're both good at both fighting and both politically driven, and I would love something that focuses on either of those aspects that they share. They're also both long-lived, and I would love something set in the far future too. Or something apocalyptic! Maybe they're the sole survivors of the JL? Earth's last chance, after both their kingdoms were destroyed?
DCU COMICS
Group: Hal Jordan/Thaal Sinestro
I just love how much history they have together, and how they both always end up thrust back together in the end, and I would love anything set in any stage of their relationship - back when Hal was still his trainee, when they first became enemies, when they were forced to work together against more existential threats - I love all of it! I also love anything where they're enemies but still deeply obsessed with each other even as their making each other's lives hell. I also love Sinestro messing with Hal's head (or body), and I love anything where they're forced to work together by circumstances, or something where they do eventually end up on the same side again for real.
Group: Madame Xanadu/Death
I really love the idea that the spells that make Xanadu immortal aren't exactly permanent or fool-proof, that her immortality is something she had to win from Death, and if she somehow loses it again she may have to also win it back again. Or if she is somehow killed, that there may be a reunion between the two of them - even if she can't die, maybe she caught Death's eye, and maybe she comes to visit? Or her life is full of conflict, maybe she sees Death on the regular when she comes for other people. Maybe someone has tried trapping Death again and Xanadu comes to free her? Or maybe Xanadu is going to die and Death lets her of the hook for her own reasons, even if she loses the game? Maybe Death wouldn't agree to the game and Xanadu had to find other means of persuasion!
GAME OF THRONES
Group: Sansa Stark/Brienne of Tarth
I love how close Brienne is to that romantic notion of knighthood that Sansa used to believe in so strongly - brave, tall, honest, devoted - while still being so far off what she could have ever expected. And I'm so happy that Brienne finally found her! I would love something playing of their expectations of each other - how Brienne made that promise to her mother, how she can both be to traditional a knight and such an oddity as one, how the Sansa she eventually found was so much different than the sweet young girl her mother described. I would love anything with Brienne acting as the loyal knight, or having to deal with how to maintain it while all the political alliances around her keeps shifting, or having to deal with Sansa doing something she can't follow. Or Sansa about Brienne - if they had met differently, would Sansa be so willing to trust her? Or what happens to them after the war is over?
Group: Sansa Stark/Margaery Tyrell
There was so much promise! I do love the manipulative edge Margaery has with everyone around her - especially in regards to poor Sansa, because even it if is manipulative, it's still so much kinder than the outright cruelty shown to her by nearly everyone else, especially when she was in King's Landing. I would love to see something where Margaery survives, and they end up meeting or having to deal with each other in the fight against the White Walkers or how the political situation shakes up with Dany coming back. Or something during King's Landing, with Margaery trying to keep Sansa in her good graces in case the war somehow ends up turning in the Starks's favor. Or where Sansa ends up married to Loras but it's Margaery who actually keeps her company. Maybe something where Sansa finds out the Tyrells killed Joffrey, and weren't all that concerned about Sansa taking the blame for it?
MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE
Talos (MCU)
I still can't believe he's real, I love him so much! I want to know everything about him and read so many stories with him! We know the Skrulls lost that war, but when - was he born on the run or is he old enough to have seen the fall of his homeworld? How did he meet Mar-Vell, and how did he come to trust a Kree scientist enough to leave his family behind with her? I would also love to see what he was doing in those years he was separated from them - what kind of missions was he on? I would love something where he was captured, or forced to do something he would rather not, or got swept into something he hated while spying/simming someone else. Was he still trying to strike back at the Kree Empire all those years, or at that point was it just finding a way to be safe, or find his family again? I'd also love something set after the movie - where are the Skrulls going from here, how many survivors are there, what kind of role is he going to play in their society now? I love the Skrulls in the movie generally and would love any kind of world building or slice of life about how they live, and in what ways Talos is normal and what things set him apart. For ships, I like him with Soren, Carol, Fury, and Mar-Vell, or any combination of those people!
Group: Talos/Soren
Talos of having a family was THE BEST TWIST in any Marvel movie, I loved it, I want to see a million stories with them. How did they meet? How did he make the decision to leave her behind with Mar-Vell and the others? Had their baby already been born by then, or was she still pregnant? Did she even know she was pregnant?? I would love to know how they met Mar-Vell, or how they both handled being separated for all those years. And now that they're together I would love reunion fic! They've been apart so long, do they have to kind of re-learn each other, or is it like no time has passed? I would also love to see them getting to raise their kid together, Soren kind of filling him on all the child-raising he missed out on, trying to make sure that whatever happens they don't have to be separated again.
Group: Talos & or / Carol Danvers
I want so much more of them interacting, the shift in their relationship over the course of the movie was so great! I think it's interesting that he's been in her head, and can kind of still be in her head through by copying her, and I'd love to see how that might have affected him decided to reach out to her for help instead of keep trying to beat answers out of her. And I want to read all kinds of fic about what they get up to after the movie! She's got a pretty distinct energy signature, what if they have to deal with the Kree tracking her after they leave Earth? What is she still has issues getting other Skrulls to trust her after everything she did while she was with the Kree? Do they go around collecting Skrulls who're hiding in different places? Or I would love to see them both involved in the Kree-Nova conflict. Maybe he sneaks in and gets intelligence on where they're keeping their weapons/ships, and then Carol comes in and handles the explosions part of the job. I would love to see them going on missions together, or maybe one of them gets captured and the other has to rescue them? Or any kind of xeno! Including using the shapeshifting during sex!
Group: Stephen Strange/Kaecilius
Anything that fills in more of Kaecilius's backstory would be great, or is there any version of events where Stephen ends up switching to his side? Maybe if he'd arrived earlier, or Kaecilius had left earlier? Or anything with Kaecilius torturing/capturing Strange - maybe for some kind of magic ritual? Is there any way they end up having to work on the same side for some reason? I would love Kaecilius coming back somehow - maybe something involving time travel? Maybe whatever they do to un-snap people in Endgame errodes the line between the living and the dead? Or he comes back as Dormammu's servant, sent to torment Strange. Or maybe he escapes somehow on his own? I would also love something where he's still trapped and/or dead and is haunting Stephen through the dimensions.
Group: Karl Mordo/Stephen Strange
I would really love any extended interaction from the timeline of the movie! Mordo training Stephen, them becoming friendly, maybe Mordo revealing how he ended up in Kamar-Taj. Either something that makes it all the more painful that he leaves, or something where they get close enough that he changes course and stays with Stephen and Wong. I would also really love to Stephen trying to change things, looking for different timelines where he comes back, or never leaves at all, or trying magic to 'fix' things. I would also love something where something goes really wrong with one of their spells, and they have to reach out to each other for help! Or something where they're giving it their all fighting each other, but one or both of them still has feelings. Also, again, I really love just using magic as an excuse for sex, and how that can affect their relationship? Or any enemy-mine type situation after Mordo turns to the dark side!
ROGUE ONE
Bodhi Rook
I love him so much, and how he was so often clearly scared out of his mind but still determined to at least try, and there are so many parts of his story still left to explore! What was his life like growing up? Why did he decide to become a pilot, and what happened to his family after that? What were things like for him as a pilot before he met Galen? What would have happened to him if he'd been caught by the Empire before he made it to Saw? How deeply did the Bor Gullet end up affecting him? If he had survived, what would he have gone on to do after Scarif? How would things have gone for him in the Alliance? If you want to write ship fic with him, I love him with Jyn/Cassian, Jyn, Luke, Leia, and Galen.
Galen Erso
He spent so much of his life in captivity, watching his all his good intentions bring nothing but suffering, and he still managed to keep himself together long enough to put the destruction of the Death Star into motion! I'd love something set during his captivity on Vaalt, separated from his wife and child, or anything with him struggling to keep things together after Krennic rescues them. Or life on Coruscant, trying to figure out a way to help his family while black-listed. Or life on Lah'mu! They were there for three years, I'd love to see more of that. Afterwards, how does he handle the loss of his family, and how does he manage to keep his secrets for so long? Or, assuming Krennic didn't take him straight to Eadu for the next fifteen years, where was he taken after Lah'mu and what happened to him in between those places? Or anything where he survives and has to deal with all the emotional fallout of everything that happens! I would love to see more of him interacting with Jyn, or for ships, I like him with Lyra, Bodhi, Krennic, Saw, Cassian, Chirrut & Baze, or Mon Mothma. Really I would love to see more of him with any character in the movie or the novels.
Jyn Erso
I would love fic of her as a kid - what was it like right after she got picked up by Saw? Or later, what was it like when she realized he'd abandoned her and she was really on her own? I'd also love anything that goes into her various misadventures before the move begins! Or anything that deals with her emotions after hearing Galen's message, or after seeing Saw again, and how that plays into her abandonment issues. Or an AU where she's caught and discovered earlier! What would have happened to her if Krennic had found her? Or had taken her along with Galen on Lah'mu? Or I'd love something where she survives, but still has to deal with the trauma of what she's been through, or she still has terrible things happening to her as she fights the Empire. Or what if she lives long enough to see the rise of the First Order? I would love so see more of her interacting with Galen, Lyra, or Saw, and for ships, if you want to write ship fic, I'd love her with Cassian, Bodhi, Krennic, Enfys, Qi'ra, Aphra, Luke, Leia, and Mon Mothma.
Orson Krennic
I love him, I love genuinely terrible he can be, and how he can be so clever and calculating in some respects and how he can let his ambition completely blind him in others. He can't ever seem to stop himself and I love it - I would love to see him struggling for position right out of school, or trying to hold the project together even after Galen bails on him, or trying to find some path to the Emperor around Tarkin. Or I would love more about his background, how he ended up like he is. Or where does he end up if Galen's plan fails and nobody ever finds out about the flaw in the Death Star? I would really love something where he finally gets his audience with Palpatine, or just him interacting with any of the other Imperial officers. Or, he seems to have a lot of unofficial resources, and I would love to read about him interacting with some of non-Imperial criminal underground. As far as ships, I love him with Galen, see below, and I'd also love to see him with Jyn, Lyra, Darth Vader, Tarkin, Thrawn, or Qi'ra.
Group: Cassian Andor/Jyn Erso/Bodhi Rook
I love how they're all on such different life paths and end up intertwined through a twist of fate. They've all been through the ringer before they ever meet - I would love something with them set during the movie, maybe reaching out to each other for comfort, maybe getting swept up in adrenaline. Or, something afterwards, if they survive and have a chance to adjust to how radically different their lives are. I would love them working in the rebellion together, or I would also love something set even further in the future - if they'd all lived, what would they be doing after the war? I would love something where they're all caught by the Empire, or maybe only one of them is caught and the other two have to go rescue them. Or maybe they think one of them is dead? Or I what if they'd all somehow managed to meet under different circumstances?
Group: Galen Erso/Bodhi Rook
They're so much mystery in how they met, what exactly their relationship was like - we only know how deeply important it ended up being to Bodhi, and I would really love any story where they actually get to interact with each other. How long did they know each other before Galen asked him to betray the Empire - was it years, basically Bodhi's whole career as a pilot? Or was it something fast and desperate? I would love something dealing with their life on Eadu and working for the Empire, even before Galen ever brings up the idea of defecting. How does Galen know he can trust him, or does he just not have the choice not to? I would also love an AU where they get to survive - maybe they successfully rescue Galen on Eadu, or maybe they don't have to rescue him because Bodhi takes Galen himself instead of just a holo message. I would also love something where they're captured together by the Empire, or even by the rebels if they aren't believed. Or something set in the future, after the Death Star is destroyed, maybe even after the war has been won.
Group: Galen Erso/Orson Krennic
They have so much history, and so many points in their relationship where things could have gone totally differently, and so there's so much to explore there. I would love something about how they met and got close when they were younger - what brought two such radically different people together in the first place? How does Orson end up in that place where he's obsessed enough to track him down across space, to blindly let him sabotage the project right under his nose? Or how did they interact in that long space after Lah'mu, before Orson finds out about the sabotage? Or I would love an AU! What if Krennic hadn't let Galen out of his sight long enough to meet Lyra? Or what if Galen had convinced Orson not to join the military, how would things have shaken out? Or what if Galen hadn't been killed on Eadu - what would Krennic have done with him? Or what if Galen had never escaped to Lah'mu in the first place? Or what if he'd joined up with the Alliance, and Krennic had ended up their prisoner?
