Hi! I'm rosecake on AO3 and rose-cake on Tumblr. Thank you for offering one of these characters/sets of characters ♥! I'm really excited about all of them.

I love both gen and femslash! I ship all the group pairings below romantically and/or sexually, with the single exception being Jyn and Lyra Erso, where I would prefer it to stay gen. For the single character requests I went ahead and listed ships I like in case you want to write romance/smut/whatever, but that's all obviously totally optional. Also, some of those options were het, because I also love het, but if you feel hesitant writing about guys at all in a woman-centric exchange please feel free to go ahead and write any of the dudes mentioned as women.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
Buffy Summers & Kendra Young
My greatest lingering regret about BtVS is that Kendra was in so few episodes. I loved her so much, especially for the potential interaction with Buffy - I loved them finding common ground and friendship, even though they were both so different and had such drastically different backgrounds. And even though they've both got that same drive to protect people from evil, there's still room for tension - both in different approaches, and how Buffy sometimes can be a little insecure about Kendra being a 'real' slayer, or Kendra realizing that she's had to sacrifice a lot of things even though Buffy's been pretty successful even though she was raised with a lot more freedom. I would love something where Kendra survives - where does the relationship go then? How do they both change if Kendra sticks around? Or, I would love something where either on of them is turned and the other has to deal with that - do they shove a soul back in the other, or just have to accept that their friend is gone? I do also love tragedy though, and I would also love something where Kendra still dies - slayers have dreams about the others, does Buffy ever have dreams about Kendra's life? Or does Kendra's ghost try and help her out? Or, what if Buffy dies and it's Kendra who has to take her place in the Hellmouth and figure out how to carry on her legacy? I enjoy their relationship as both gen and as femslash, either sweet/tragic/slightly competitive or as dark vampirism porn if one of them ends up turned.


CROSSOVERS (VARIATIONS ON STAR WARS EDITION)
Chelli Lona Aphra & Qi'ra
What an absolutely perfect pair of characters to throw together, thank you to whoever nominated this because I would not have thought of it myself even though it makes perfect sense! I would love to see them interacting - Aphra running afoul of the Crimson Dawn for some reason (stealing from them? getting blackmailed into a job?), and maybe Qi'ra being sort of charmed by her, or even letting herself be scammed. Or, hey, maybe Aphra is the one charmed and really wants to work for her - does Qi'ra drag her in? Or does she run Aphra out, either because she things Aphra is going to be a disturbance, or because she thinks it's for Aphra's own good? Or maybe it's Qi'ra using Aphra as a way to get at Vader somehow? Or maybe Magna is the one in trouble with somebody, and Aphra ends up needing Qi'ra's help to live up to all Magna's daring last-minute rescue fantasies? Or maybe Qi'ra has her own walk-in cape closet now for Aphra to mess around in! And I definitely ship it too if you want to write romance/smut!

Jyn Erso & Enfys Nest
I would love them together so much! I would love to know how Saw's people see and interact with the Cloud-Riders - do they train together, or respect each other, or do they end up stepping over each other and disagreeing with each other's methods? I'd love something with either Jyn looking up to her as a hero or maybe having a slightly more antagonistic or untrusting approach at first. I would love something looking at their relationships with their mothers, maybe, and what the Empire has taken from both of them. Or something cute/adventurous with Enfys teaching Jyn how to ride swoop bikes! Maybe something with Enfys interacting with Jyn both before and after she's abandoned by Saw? If Jyn's younger I'd like something gen, but if she's older I'm also really into it as a ship! Or, if Enfys survives long enough, how does she feel hearing about Jyn's run against the Death Star?

Jyn Erso & Rae Sloane
I love both of them and I would love to see them match wits somehow! Maybe Jyn is part of an ambush of one of Sloane's missions? Maybe she goes undercover in the Empire at some point? Or, I would love it as an AU where Jyn is raised in the Empire with her dad - how do they meet up that way? Or, something where Rae manages to catch Jyn! Or one of the other Rogue One members, or maybe she ends up with custody of Galen at some point, and it's up to Jyn to rescue them. Or maybe Rae is actually being somewhat reasonable about dealing with a common enemy and Jyn is having too many flashbacks about Imperials dressed in white to acknowledge it? I also ship it very hard, as enemy sex or bad decisions or in some version of events where one of them has changed sides.

Jyn Erso & Rey
I just want them to be able to meet! They're similar in a lot of ways I think, especially in how they're both very self-reliant out of necessity, but they've also got such radically different experiences of family, political engagement, and the force. I would like this with both as an older Jyn who survived Scarif and is now involved in the fight against the First Order and meets Rey that way, or as some kind of time-warp where either Jyn ends up in the future or Rey ends up in the past. OR, maybe Rey ends up on Lah'mu/Eadu/Scarif/Jedha and ghost Jyn is haunting it? Or Jyn's necklace survives somehow and ends up with Rey. I definitely ship it with both the older Jyn option or the time-travel/ghost and they're around the same age option!


FINAL FANTASY XV
Lunafreya Nox Fleuret
As far as canon goes, I have seen Kingsglaive and played through the end of the main game. I haven't had the chance to play the DLC yet, but I've been pretty thoroughly spoiled for it, so please feel free to incorporate anything you want from it too. Lunafreya is far and away my favorite character in the series! She's lived a very constrained life in all sorts of ways but still really deeply cares about people anyway, although she does sometimes almost seem to use a sense of formality as a wall around herself. I would love something about her childhood - maybe something about her relationship with her mother, or something set under the occupation. Or something about her dawning understanding of her role as the Oracle. Or I would love something about her adventures in awakening the Astrals! And I will also love anything with her surviving longer. If you want to write ship fic/smut, I ship her with Nyx, Gentiana, and Crowe. Or, if you want to write something darker, her with Ravus, Glauca, or Iedolas. Or I would love anything with her and any of the Astrals!


HANNIBAL
Abigail Hobbs
Poor Abigail, cut down before she could reach some kind of emotional peace with her past trauma and/or reach her full potential as a cannibal serial killer! I would really love a story set during the time period when she was involved in her father's murders - how did she see her role in at the time, before Hannibal or Will started getting into her head about it? How did she interact with the other girls? Or, I would love something about what she was doing while Hannibal was hiding her away while they were pretending she was dead! What did he do with her, and how did she feel about? I would also love something where she survives, and has to maneuver her way out of prison and into living a normal-ish life, or something where she ends up running off with Hannibal and Will in a nice happy murder family somewhere. Or maybe Hannibal does figure out how to un-murder her, somehow. Shipping-wise, I like her with Hannibal, Will, Chiyoh, Alana, and Freddie!

Alana Bloom
She just goes through so much, and it's really fascinating to me how much she's changed by it over the course of the show. She's so angry, for good reason, and so tied to the past and betrayed, especially when she was so physically affected in a way that makes it really impossible to put everything out of her mind. I would love something set earlier, when she's still much more trusting, more optimistic and really believes in Hannibal, and in Abigail and Will; something where there are signs she just can't see. Or anything right after, with her desperately trying to piece some semblance of her old life back together. Or anything with her taking her feelings out on Hannibal, and getting caught in some kind of revenge cycle with him, or more about her life with Margot, and how having a family can be something healing or it can be a huge risk for her. For ships, I love her with Margot, Hannibal, Will, Abigail, and Beverly.

Beverly Katz
Hannibal didn't have to kill her! He could have just kept her in the basement with Abigail for a while! Maybe they hang out some and she tries to act like everything is normal even though she's freaking out as he's explaining why cannibalism is actually great to her. She always seemed like a really grounded character to me, and I wish she had been around to react when things really went fucking wild. I would love her working a case, or putting together the pieces about how Will got framed, or maybe just being around as a ghost to haunt people. Maybe she haunts the rest of team science! If Hannibal does decide to kidnap her instead of murdering her, what happens whenever he decides to let her loose? What if people thought she was dead the entire time? How does she react to that? Ship-wise, I love her with Will, Hannibal, Alana, and Chiyoh.

Chiyoh
I want to know everthing about her! What was her childhood like? How exactly did she end up so heavily tied to Hannibal, and how does she see that relationship over time? What was life like left behind? We know how twisted up Hannibal's relationship with time can be, how does she view the passage of time? What would she be doing with her life if she weren't guarding Hannibal's prisoner? What if Hannibal and Will do die going over the cliff - what does she do with herself then? We know a lot about Hannibal's relationship with murder and with hunting people down, what about Chiyoh's? Relationship wise, I would love more of her with Hannibal, Will, Abigail, Bedelia, Alana or Margot.

Margot Verger
I love Margot so much - I've always found her story to be really moving, and she's so sympathetic, because she clearly doesn't want to be involved in all the serial killer drama but nobody is giving her the option to leave so she ends up forced to role with it. I'd like more of her experiences with Hannibal as a psychiatrist, or something about the various ways that she's had to try and cope with the unending trauma of her life before her brother's death. Or, I would love something about her starting a family with Alana, and all the normal fears and anxieties that brings on top of the fact that they're both involved with a ton of murder. For ships, I love her with Alana, and also with Abigail or Chiyoh, or anything with an AU where Hannibal is a woman.


ROGUE ONE
Jyn Erso & Lyra Erso
I would love to read more about Jyn's childhood, especially anything involving their time spent on so many different planets or their exile on Lah'mu. Or I'd also love something with Jyn as an adult reflecting on her memories of her mother, or on the connection they still have through the necklace. I would also love an AU! Something where Lyra flees with Jyn instead of going back for Galen? Or something where their family is never found by Krennic in the first place? Or something where the whole family is captured together and Lyra has to raise Jyn in the Empire. 

Jyn Erso & Mon Mothma
Mon Mothma's respect and empathy for Jyn is so strong, especially in the novel, and I love how present it is before Jyn herself even really makes the decision to really throw herself into the fight. It's a really interesting relationship, because on the other hand you have Jyn, who presumably having been raised by Saw has been influenced with by his opinions on the Alliance leadership, and you've also got the tension where Mothma clearly wants to help her but is also constrained by the rest of the Alliance. I'd love an AU - maybe one where Jyn ends up with the Alliance at some point earlier, and the mission to find her dad ends up coming from somebody she already knows and respects? Or something where she survives, and comes back to the Alliance afterwards, balancing that success at having destroyed the Death Star and the fact that it killed so many people first. Or just a moment where they get to really talk some in the course of the day that Jyn does spend on Yavin. I'd like it either as gen and femslash!

Lyra Erso & Mon Mothma
Well this pretty much has to be canon-divergence AU, but I really love the possibilities! If Lyra did escape Lah'mu, I find it pretty easy to imagine she'd split ways with Saw as he grew more violent and come over to Mon Mothma's side of the rebellion instead. How would she end up involved in things? And how would they interact, politically? What if Lyra is left pushing for a rescue mission that really isn't possible? Or, if Lyra had been taken captive by the Empire, what if the Rebellion had kidnapped her again, desperate for someone who might have information to give up on the Empire's projects?

Jyn Erso
I always want more backstory - what her life was like between being left on Lah'mu and being picked up again by Cassian at the beginning of the movie? There's so much there I want to read about, especially how her sense of herself and her family changes over time. What kind of fights was she in? How did life as her various different aliases vary? How did she relate to the other members of Saw's gang? Alternatively, I would love anything where she survives Scarif - what would she do from there? How would she adjust once the war was over? That I would love wish fulfillment AUs where one or both of her parents survive somehow and she gets to have that (or you could just have them survive and then kill them again a little later). Or, really, any kind of canon-divergent AU. As far as relationships go, I would love more of her with her family, and aside from the pairings mentioned elsewhere I also like her with Bodhi, Cassian, Leia, Luke, Mothma, and Krennic.

Lyra Erso
I want more of her - I'd love either backstory, what her life was like as a child/in college, or what her early relationship with Galen was like. I'd also love something set while she was in prison on Vaalt. Or any kind of thing about what her life is like on Lah'mu! I'd also love an AU where she lives - either she goes with Jyn instead of going back for Galen and ends up raising her daughter on the run, or where Krennic's men manage to avoid killing her and she ends up captured by the Empire as well. I would also love more drama with her relationship with Krennic! I would love to see more her relationship with Jyn, and for pairings I love her with Galen, Nari, Saw, Mothma, Krennic or Bodhi, or for crossovers with Enfys or Qi'ra!  

SOLO
Qi'ra
My initial thoughts on Solo pretty much boiled down to 'Qi'ra's cape in the trailer is really nice, I miss having Star Wars women with elaborate costume changes every other scene, I guess I will see this in the theater.' I WAS UNPREPARED FOR THE EXTEND OF MY QI'RA FEELINGS. I would love more backstory - what are the things she's done that she's most ashamed of? How did end up moving from the White Worms to such a position of power in Crimson Dawn? What motivates her to keep moving forward, and how does she handle that streak of sentimentality she still seems to carry with her? And what kind of leader will she be going forward? Does she have some kind of end goal, or is the goal just to survive as long as she can? If you want to write ship fic or smut, as mentioned already I like her with Enfys, L3-37, Jyn, Aphra, and Lady Proxima. I also would love to see more of her relationship with Dryden. I'm also really interested in how the syndicates balance their position within the Empire, and I'd love to see her with Tarkin, Krennic, Galen, Thrawn, Pryce, or Sloane.

Enfys Nest
I would love more background for her! She's such a tantalizing character, and I really hope she pops up in the EU, because she's got so much potential stories. I would love anything about her childhood, her relationship with her mother, or any kind of adventure with her and her group raiding Syndicates and Imperials. How do common, unaffiliated people see her, and how does she want to be seen? What inspires her to take off her mask and explain herself to the Millennium Falcon group instead of solving the problem through violence? Does she consider herself and her group a part of the Alliance proper, or are they a separate piece of Rebellion? On top of shipping her with Qi'ra and Jyn and I'd also love to see her with Mon Mothma, or with Lyra Erso (either she survives Lah'mu and they meet later, or maybe the Ersos flee from Coruscant directly to the nascent rebel groups instead of trying to hid on Lah'mu in the first place).

Enfys Nest & Qi'ra
I want them to be opposite each other so badly in the future! The potential between them is limitless - they aren't just going to be nameless enemies to each other now, they'll both always have that face to face meeting to remember. Qi'ra's seen Enfys without her mask, and Enfys has seen Qi'ra at what was likely her softest point. How do they go forward - is it a drive to destroy each other? Or does Enfys maybe start to think of Qi'ra as someone who might one day decide to help people regardless of the risk? Does she ever spare Qi'ra at some point, and if so, will she ever have reason to regret not killing Qi'ra when she had the opportunity? Does that leave her with some guilt herself over whatever Qi'ra does after? And does Qi'ra need to kill her, either because she's a threat, or because she's a potential weakness if Qi'ra lets herself get too pulled in by the girl under the mask? Or what if, despite all the terror caused by the Crimson Dawn, they can find some common ground in keeping the Empire destabilized enough that it needs the syndicates? Or what if they both survive the fall of the Empire, and end up meeting again afterwards? I love this as both gen and as femslash!

L3-37 & Qi'ra
I loved the relationship between the two of them so much, and I would love to see more of it - L3-37 is obviously a lot in how she goes about living her life, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's something about that underlying drive to be free that Qi'ra is legitimately touched by. I'd like them just hanging out in the background, or Qi'ra being honestly interested in L3-37's opinions on droid issues, especially because unlike Lando she hasn't heard the same slogans approximately a million times already. She's a fresh audience! Or something where Qi'ra ends up the one with Millennium Falcon, and maybe it's not exactly L3-37 but there's still a variation of her somewhere, enough for Qi'ra to be able to feel it. I would also love femslash - like, I will never believe that Qi'ra did not immediately have working theories on how droid/human sex works that she was ready and willing to try. She just wants to test everything out - do you like this? Or this? Is this sexy??? - to the point where maybe L3-37 gets a little flustered.

Lady Proxima & Qi'ra
I would love more about Qi'ra ended up in the White Worms to begin with - what was it like for her in the beginning, and what was it like for her when she ended up as Head Girl? Did it change how Lady Proxima treated her? Or, how would Qi'ra's life have ended up going if she'd been stuck with Lady Proxima instead of escaping when she did? Or, I would love something set after Han escaped and Qi'ra was left behind - what kind of punishment did she face for that? How did it change her position in the gang? I would also love something with Qi'ra interacting with Lady Proxima after she's risen up in the Crimson Dawn - does she take revenge? Does she keep her peace, if Lady Proxima is useful to her or the Crimson Dawn somehow? I would love gen, but I would also love to read some messed up xeno for this too - maybe it's just part of responsibilities as Head Girl, or maybe Proxima just has a special attraction to her, or maybe the punishment for trying to leave the gang is that you get filled up with worm eggs while everyone watches.



STAR TREK DISCOVERY
Michael Burnham & Philippa Georgiou
More of them please! I would love more about Michael's early experiences with Philippa on the ship, and what it was like for Philippa to help her through not just life in Starfleet, but life among humanity in general. Do Michael's early impressions of her match her later affection for her? Or, what if Philippa had survived - what would the reckoning for Michael's mutiny have looked like then? How would their relationship have gone from there? Or, what if Michael had been the one to die in the pilot, and Philippa had survived - how would Philippa have dealt with that ending to their relationship? I would also love all the standard Captain & loyal First Officer Starfleet tropes, starring Philippa and Michael! Michael not approving of the Captain going on all the dangerous missions, Michael dramatically sacrificing herself to save Philippa, Philippa doing the same for Michael, both of them are captured by aliens, there's some kind of forced mind-meld, one of them thinks the other is dead, etc.! I definitely ship it if you would like to write femslash instead of gen.

Michael Burnham & Mirror Philippa Georgiou
I love it, because Michael already has so many feelings about her own Philippa, and I think all those feelings you normally get with seeing the Mirror version of someone you love and think of as being a good and kind person get ramped up past eleven when your own version of that person is dead and you're still really messed up about that. I would enjoy them interacting more in the Mirror Universe - maybe Michael has to pretend to be her Mirror self for longer, or maybe Mirror Philippa keeps her trapped even after finding out that she's an imposter. And I would love all the confused feelings that go with that - I would also love something set after Mirror Philippa comes back to the regular universe. Do they run into each other? Does Mirror Philippa make sure that they do? If Mirror Philippa ends up committing atrocities, maybe even hurting her friends, how does Michael deal with that? Again, I definitely ship if if you want to write femslash.

Mirror Michael Burnham & Mirror Philippa Georgiou
I would really like to know more about their relationship, either through Philippa's view of it or Michael's - what was Mirror Michael's view of her relationship with her mother, and how much did that play into her betrayal? Was she angry at her and deliberately lashing out, or did she feel that she was following her mother's example in how to be a properly ruthlessly ambitious Imperial? Did Lorca really throw a wrench in that relationship, or was it a mess from the start? How did Philippa handle Michael's training, and what kind of person did she want Michael to grow up to be? What if Mirror Michael hadn't died - either never turned on Philippa, or Philippa managed to capture her after the attempted coup - what would have happened with them from there? I'm good with gen, creepy levels of co-dependency, and straight-up incest for the two of them.

Michael Burnham
I love Michael so much - I was so leery of the "Spock has a sister" thing, but she's perfect and everything I wanted in a Star Trek lead. She's so smart, and compassionate, but even I think even though she was clearly loved her upbringing has left her a real emotional mess. I'd love something that deals with how she grows into seeing the other crew members of the Discovery as her friends, and how she handles her emotions being around people in a normal setting after having been imprisoned. How does she react when those people are threatened? Or, I would love more of her growing up and her relationships with Amanda and Sarek, or more about what she remembers of her original parents. I would also love something set during her legal proceedings/imprisonment after Binary Stars! Pairings-wise, if you want to write ship fic, in addition to the Georgiou pairings I also love her with Tilly, Saru, Ash, Katrina, and Lorca.

Mirror Philippa Georgiou
I want to know more about her! How did she come into power - did she inherit it, or fight for it, or was it a mixture of both things? What made her decide she wanted to adopt a child - had she planned to adopt, or was it a whim or opportunity she seized in the moment? How did she handle it when her Michael died? I'd also love anything action - putting down rebellions, cleaning up after Lorca's attempted coup, or how she first decided Klepians were tasty. I'd love her interacting with the other Mirror versions of her old crew besides just mostly Michael - with Captain Killy, with poor Mirror Saru, or with any of the others. Or more of her terrorizing the poor normal versions! Intimidating Tilly, who doesn't really have any pre-existing notions of her, or just straight-up tormenting poor Saru, who really cared about his Philippa and who's basically a slave at best or a snack at worst to this version of her. Or tempting Cornwell's morals with ruthless plans to destroy Starfleet's enemies! I ship her with pretty much anyone you could write, honestly, including all versions of Michael, Tilly, Saru, Katrina, and Lorca.

Philippa Georgiou
Again, I would really love more backstory! What was her beginning in Starfleet like? I would love to read some of her earlier adventures from before she was made a captain. And how did she handle her relationships with her crew outside of Michael? How did she come to know Sarek, and what was their relationship like? If she had survived, what would she have done after Binary Stars? How would she have handled Michael's mutiny going forward? Or, what if she had been captured by the Klingons instead of killed - how would her captivity have gone? Or what if she escapes/is rescued! If it's been a while, how does she interact with being among Starfleet again? Or how would she have reacted if she'd ended up meeting her Mirror self at some point? If you'd like to romance/smut, I ship her with Michael, Saru, and original Lorca.
