SW Rare Pairs 2017 Letter

I'm
My likes when it comes to art are the same as my likes when it comes to writing - I don't have any preferences/dislikes when it comes to medium/style/coloring/etc., and I'm happy with with both explicit sex and violence. I have no idea how well the prompts I usually give for art? But in addition to everything below I also always really like anything to do with costumes, including costume swaps or redesigns, or anything involving characters touching, or bridal carries, or blood.
As far as canon goes, I've seen all the movies/cartoons, I've read Tarkin, Thrawn, Ahsoka, Catalyst, the Rogue One & TFA novelizations, the Claudia Gray books, most of the recent Marvel run of comics, and I'll have finished Phasma by the time reveals roll around. I've also read some of the old comics/EU tie-in novels, but it's been a while and I'm a bit vague on what actually happened in them. Feel free to work with whatever canon you're comfortable with!

Bodhi Rook/Jyn Erso
Their lives got so entangled in each other at the end, and I would love for them to have more time together! I'd love something that builds on their different relationships with Galen and/or Saw, or any missing scenes with them after the events of Jedha or Eadu. I'd also love any kind of AU where they survive the end of the movie, either alone or with the rest of Rogue One. What kind of role would they have played in the rebellion going forward? What kind of people would they turn into? Was Jyn the sort of person Bodhi had expected from listening to Galen? Or, I'd love an AU if they'd met earlier. What if Bodhi had been sent to look for her earlier, while she was still with Saw? Or what if Jyn had been on Eadu with her father when Bodhi met him?
Bodhi Rook/Leia Organa
I'm forever sad that none of the Rogue One crew every got to meet to the ANH characters! I would really have loved getting Bodhi to see interact with Leia. How does he react to her, as another person who's planet was destroyed by the Death Star, and how does she react to him, as somebody who was both involved in it and bringing her the message to destroy it? What if he had made it off Scarif, and was the one to actually deliver the plans to her? Or what if they met later on Yavin 4? What sort of role would Bodhi end up taking up in the aftermath, and how would a relationship with Leia play into it? Or I'd also love something set in the far future, after the Empire has fallen - what kind of people would they be at that point?
Bodhi Rook/Galen Erso
I could read a thousand versions of how they met and how Bodhi ended up carrying the message for Galen and would still want more of that! So how did they meet on Eadu? How does Galen convince him to defect? Does Bodhi already have his own reasons to be disloyal even before they met, or was his decision based entirely on his feelings for Galen? How long did they know each other before the events of the movie? How does Galen feel about sending him off on such a dangerous mission? Or, I'd also love any kind of AU where they manage to extract Galen alive! Either with a happy ending with everyone getting to survive the end of the movie, or just something where they get to at least see each other one more time before the inevitable.
Bodhi Rook/Lyra Erso
There are so many possibilities here that I want to see happen! What if she'd been taken captive alone with Galen and was with him on Eadu, and what if she was the one who convinced Bodhi to help them? What if Galen had died and she was trying to survive on her own in the Empire long enough to get word of the sabotage out? Or what if she stayed with Jyn and survived with her, and she was the one Galen sent Bodhi too? What would have happened from there? What kind of person would Lyra be after all that, and would she be what Bodhi was expecting to find? And how would the movie have played out from there?
Bor Gullet/Bodhi Rook
What's it like having the Bor Gullet in his head? I love all the varying depictions of the experience that I've read, and I would love to read more of them! What would have happened with Bodhi and the Bor Gullet if Cassian and the others hadn't shown up? Does he carry a piece of it with him still? How much did it change him? I would also be very happy with a lot of filthy tentacle porn. What's it like handling all of those tentacles? With the Bor Gullet I really like both the mind games/mental aspect along with the xeno/body horror aspect you get with your average tentacle monsters!
Bor Gullet/Galen Erso
So, spreading the pain around some, what if Galen had left Eadu along with Bodhi and it turned out that Saw really wasn't willing to trust him after all that time working with the Imperials? What kind of secrets would the Bor Gullet be able to pry out of his head? Would it affect him the same way it affected Bodhi? Or, what if the Imperials had managed to get ahold of the Bor Gullet, and were using it to try and figure out how Galen had sabotaged the Death Star? Again, for this one, I like it as either mind games and mental exploration or as an excuse for depraved tentacle porn.
Cassian Andor/Galen Erso
Something about a person being ready and able to kill another person always makes me ship it really hard, so I'm hooked on this! What if Cassian was undercover on some sort of mission, and they met that way before the events of the movie? Or what if there had been previous missions to try and snatch Galen from the Empire that Cassian was involved in? Or I'd love something where Galen survives Eadu and things go from there. How do you interact with the guy you almost shot in the head? Maybe bonding over something bad almost happening/actually happening to Jyn? Or maybe something where the Empire is trying to hunt Galen down for his treachery and Cassian has to save him?
Darth Vader/Orson Krennic
I would really love any kind of inappropriate use of the force here! That choking scene was such a gift, and that insane grin on Krennic's face afterwards was amazing, so I really desperately want more of them interacting. How would things have gone if Vader had taken a more direct role in overseeing the Death Star's progress from the start? Does Krennic try to use him against Tarkin, and how does that go for him? Or what if Krennic had survived Scarif, what would Vader have done to him afterward for letting Galen sabotage the Empire's greatest weapon? What happens if Vader helps him finally get his meeting with the Emperor?
Darth Vader/Wilhuff Tarkin
I love their relationship so much! They're both absolute monsters in their own separate ways, and I love the tense respect between the two of them, and I love just how long their history goes back. I'd love anything with them violently suppressing dissent somewhere, or something where they're riding other Imperials. I'd also enjoy something set in the past, when they were working together during The Clone Wars, or maybe something set around the time of Tarkin? Or something set in the future - what happens if Tarkin survives the Death Star too? Or what happens to them if the Death Star never gets blown up at all? Or I'd love an AU where Vader ends up raising the twins in the Empire, and how Tarkin plays into that.
Eli Vanto/Thrawn | Mitth'raw'nuruodo
I loved their relationship in the book so much! I love how Eli starts out feeling railroaded into the relationship and that doesn't go away immediately but it gets replaced with this clear affection even though he's sometimes deeply exasperated by Thrawn. I would love any kind of missing scenes from the novels, or more about what Eli is up to during the events of Rebels. Or something post the end of the novel! Either an AU from the ending, or a fix-it, or just Eli coming to terms with it as he settles in with the Chiss. Or any kind of straight Sherlock AU or fusion. I would also love any kind of weird xeno porn where Eli sort of resents how extremely into it he is!
Galen Erso/Lyra Erso
I want more backstory! I want something about how they first met! I would love anything about their earlier adventures searching for crystals in the Outer Rim before they ended up on Vallt. Or more about what the imprisonment was like on Vallt, especially from Lyra's point of view. Or, what kind of life did they have planned before the wars happened? Or I'd love some look at what their life was like while they were in exile on Lah'mu. I'd also love any kind of AU - what if they'd both been taken alive, or as a whole family, on Lah'mu? Or what if Lyra had gone off with Jyn and they don't see each other again for years? Or I'd love anything with Lyra haunting Galen after she died.
Galen Erso/Orson Krennic
There's so much potential for any kind of story about them! I always really love reading more about what their early relationship was like during the Program, before all the tragedy got in the way of things. What was it like when they parted ways? Or I'd like more of them with Coruscant, with Krennic trying so hard to build the relationship back up while still keeping Galen in the dark about basically everything. Or I'd love something traumatic set right after Lah'mu, or something set during Galen's captivity working for the Empire. What would have happened if Galen hadn't died on Eadu? Or, what would have happened if Krennic had figured out about the sabotage before Tarkin? Or I love stories where Krennic either ends up defecting or taken captive by the Alliance!
Jyn Erso/Orson Krennic
I love this pairing because it's such a massive ball of issues from both sides! I'd love something with Krennic taking her hostage along with her father, or later catching her as an adult in the process of some of her anti-Empire activities, or even managing to take her alive and getting both of them of Scarif somehow. How does Krennic relate to her, especially given his massive issues in regards to both Galen and Lyra? What would have happened if he'd tried to raise her to be loyal to the Empire? Or if the Empire kills Galen, is there anyway he ends up teaming up with her to help her get revenge? Or what happens if she takes him captive after the fight on Scarif?
Lyra Erso/Orson Krennic
I really loved how volatile their relationship was in canon, and I really want more of it! I'd love something where Krennic fucks up and accidentally kills Galen on Lah'mu and ends up taking Lyra just to have something, or maybe just because he hopes she can help decipher some of the notes Galen left behind and then things sort of spiral out of control from there. Maybe they end up teaming up just for revenge if Galen's killed by a third party? Or maybe they end up in some sort of arranged marriage situation for reasons? Or I would love just pure hate sex. Or something with them trying to navigate around each other back on Coruscant!
Mon Mothma/Wilhuff Tarkin
So many options! They're both so driven in their beliefs, although their beliefs are diametrically opposed, and I really love the idea of them being forced to interact. Maybe something with a political or arranged marriage, and them navigating that. How would it be different if thing started before Palpatine took over vs. afterwards? Or what if was part of peace negotiations between the Empire and the Rebellion? Or, what about an AU where never Palpatine never came to power in the first place, and Tarkin was left maneuvering for position within the context of the Republic - how would that have affected their relationship?
Poe Dameron/Terex
I love how Terex is really clearly all about Poe at this point, and how Poe is really not all that into the prospect of having a dedicated nemesis? I'd love anything with them having to team up because of reasons, or anything with Terex turning on the First Order but also refusing to join the Resistance because he's not that much of a sap, or anything with him playing cat and mouse with Poe. Or what if Poe really needs to team up with an underworld type for a mission, and Terex is right there? I'd also love something set in the far future, when the conflict with the First Order has passed - what is their relationship like then?
Galen Erso/Lyra Erso/Orson Krennic
I love the interplay between the three of them so much, especially how the dynamics shift so wildly over time! I'd love something set directly after Vallt, where Lyra also has a reason to be thankful for Orson, or something set later on Coruscant, where it's more of a direct power-play between her and Krennic that Galen's not really fully aware of. Or I'd love an AU where they never escape from Coruscant! Or, alternatively, something set after they're caught on Lah'mu, and it's just a bunch of mind games going between the three of them as Lyra and Galen adjust to life as captives of the Empire. Or I'd love some version of how life would have turned out for the three of them if Krennic had been convinced to defect at any point!
Bodhi Rook/Galen Erso/Lyra Erso
I'd love something where Lyra survives but Galen is still captured by the empire, and Galen eventually convinces Bodhi to send messages to his wife on Jedha and things develop from there. Or maybe something where Lyra is captured with Galen, and they both meet Bodhi around the same time? Or I'd love something where everyone survives but Galen thinks Lyra's dead and doesn't reunite with her until he's rescued from Eadu, and then has to balance things with her and Bodhi! I really love all three of them and I'd love to see more of them interacting together.
Galen Erso/Diana Prince (Wonder Woman)
I think their character acts actually have a lot in common, where they both start out with a dangerously optimistic view of the world and the way it works and eventually have that torn from them, even though both of them do ultimately have their faith in humanity rewarded. And I really want to see them interact together! Either as a direct crossover, with Diana ending up space somehow, or a sort of fusion, where Galen is being forced to work as a Dr. Maru stand-in, or Themyscira is a planet hidden in the Outer Rim somewhere?
Rey/Jaylah (Star Trek Beyond)
I love them both so much, and they have so much in common, so I would love to see how they get on with each other! Either via somebody accidentally tearing a hole in space and time, or having Rey or Jaylah both exist in the same universe somehow. I'd love something either set after they've both recently rejoined normal society, or something set later once their much more established in their place in the world but they still have that shared history.
