CHAOS WALKING - PATRICK NESS
Mayor David Prentiss
He’s the most engaging part of the series for me - even in the first novel, where you’re just getting sideways glances of him but there’s still so much going on. I’d love to see his backstory - he’s so all over the place in the novels, it’s hard to figure out what he’s said is lies and manipulation and what’s maybe possibly true or what’s just self-delusion. They said he was from a caretaker family, I’d love to see that! What landing was like, what being hit with the noise was like. How did he figure out how to control it? Did the noise drive him crazy or did he drive himself crazy trying to control the noise? I mean even his horse is fucked up. I’d love to know what went down originally back in Prentisstown, what the war was like, all of that. Who was his wife/his son’s mother? What was his relationship with Jessica, how did the war with the spackle go, any of that. Or, later in the series, I just really like watching him use charisma to try and manipulate people into giving him what he wants. Or something that explores what he even DOES want - he wants to be in control of everything, but he also wants people to put up a fight. Or there’s so many different ways things could have gone horribly wrong with all of his planning, I’d love to read any of those AUs. I’d love to see more of his relationships in the past, or I also like his interaction with Davy, Todd, and Viola. Especially Viola, he got so little time to try and manipulate her!

Note: While I do enjoy how unsettling, manipulative, violent, and driven to get everyone around him to submit to his will he is, I don’t want him having sex with any of the kid characters.



DEATH STRANDING
There are a LOT of endgame spoilers here if that’s something your worried about!

Clifford Unger
I love him and I want to know everything about him. What was life like in the last days of America? The early void outs? I’d also love something about his time in the military, or meeting Lisa, or starting a family. Or more about what his/Lisa’s connections to Bridges were and how they got involved in all of that in the first place. Something set with him dealing with things while they’re in the hospital and he can’t touch his wife or son, or being manipulated, or reaching out to John. Or and AU where he escapes with his BB! I also love BT Cliff and would love more - the beach after dying, Bridget/Amelie pulling him back, how he figured things out through that violent nightmare haze. I’d like more of him with Sam, or Lou, or that confrontation on the beach with Amelie/Die-Hardman that we didn’t get to see! Maybe his ghost can stick around and hang out with his grandBB. I like him with Sam & Lou, and for ships I’d like to see more (well, ANYTHING, really) with Lisa, or Die-Hardman or Bridget.

Bridget Strand
I would love more of her, and that pull between how much of her is human and how much of her is this unfathomable EE! I’d love more of her getting involved in Bridges, taking control, getting people to do what she wants - how much of it is manipulation, how much of it is a drive to figure things out, how much of it is caring about her (stolen!) son and just not really being able to do much to stop the wave that’s coming. I know some people conceptualize her and Amelie as completely separate but I do see them as basically one person, and I’d love something about the Amelie and/or Bridget side of things. I love theorizing about how the beaches and world works and how she fits into that, how she sees things or maybe misunderstands things because of who she is. For ships I like her Die-Hardman, Cliff, Fragile, Mama/Lockne, or something appropriately weird with Sam.

Die-Hardman
That ending, man! I love how much guilt and remorse he has, and then you see the flashback with Cliff and how twisted around he is about it. It’s so internalized! I’d love to see something about his early relationship and Cliff saving him, or something where he comes back home and how gets involved with Bridget. I’d like so see all the things they do to build Bridges that created all that self-loathing! I’d love what was going on with him while Cliff was in the hospital, or what the direct fallout of that was. Or something with him managing Bridges int he following years - having to take over when Bridget is too sick, or future fic! What’s he doing after the game ends! Repairing his relationships, maybe, or doing whatever it takes to the keep the country connected.

Mama & Lockne
I would love their history! What it’s like growing up in the post-Stranding world, or I would love more of them working together to build the Chiral network and all the discoveries they’ve made, and how they work together so well, and then their eventual concerns about their creation. How they decided that Mama was going to have a baby for Lockne! And then anything having to do with the pain of separation, even through having that connection - I would love something dealing with the years apart. Or what if Mama had gone to her with the BT baby earlier? Or, after Mama has ‘died’, but they’re connected again between the living and the dead - what is is like for them to be two halves of the same person, before, and then when one is alive and one is dead? If you’re so inclined I’m also good with them as an incest pairing.



FINAL FANTASY XV
Lunafreya Nox Flueret
Lunafreya is far and away my favorite character in the series! She's lived a very constrained life in all sorts of ways but still really deeply cares about people anyway, although she does sometimes almost seem to use a sense of formality as a wall around herself. I would love something about her childhood - maybe something about her relationship with her mother, or something set under the occupation. Or something about her dawning understanding of her role as the Oracle. Or I would love something about her adventures in awakening the Astrals! And I will also love anything with her surviving longer. If you want to write ship fic/smut, I ship her with Nyx, Gentiana, and Crowe. Or, if you want to write something darker, her with Ravus, Glauca, or Iedolas. Or I would love anything with her and any of the Astrals!

Lunafreya Nox Fleuret/Nyx Ulric
I would love any kind of missing scene in the movie, or Luna thinking back on things before she dies. Or maybe she has visions/dreams of other worlds that could have been? Or she's trying to figure out a way that things could have gone where everyone she cares about actually survives? Or just any kind of canon-divergence AU where they both live for a little longer! I would really love Nyx acting as her bodyguard as she goes about trying to awaken the Astrals. Getting attacked by Daemons, or getting caught by Glauca or other enemies. I would love anything with them trying to survive together after the world has gone to hell, or trying to deal with their attraction in the face of the fact that Luna's got a prophesied engagement going on.



GAME OF THRONES
Jorah Mormont/Daenerys Targaryen
I love the loyalty kink, and how Jorah fucked that up so badly when he was spying on her and how he goes to insane lengths to try and get back in her good graces! I would love anything with him trying to prove his loyalty and devotion, or something with Dany taking bloody revenge if he actually does get hurt/killed by somebody even when they’re fighting. I’d also like something gentler with them comforting each other during any one of the awful things they go through together over the course of the series. Or reunions after they’ve been separated! Or, bad end, they both up wights of the Night King. Or they take Westeros together! I’d be interested in how it would change things if Jorah has survived the long night. I think maybe if she’d paused a moment after the Long Night the political situation may not have escalated quite as badly as it did. Or maybe it makes things worse? I’d also love something where she never crossed the narrow sea in the first place. Or, even earlier, what if she’d never gathered together an army following after Drogo died? What if she hadn’t been so fixated on the throne above all else?



MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE
Carol Danvers
I would love to see more of her before the movie - meeting Maria, or meeting Mar-Vell, or waking up and learning to work with the Kree while she’s got amnesia. What was her training/brainwashing like? Or I would also love to know what she gets up to after the movie! Fluff with her visiting back home when she can, or settling in with the Skrulls. Or epic space battles, or having to deal with all things she did while she was working with the Kree. Or something with her testing the limits of her powers, or maybe having to deal without them or finding vulnerabilities, or just being frustrated by situations that can’t be fixed through force. If you’d like to write ship fic I like her with Maria, Talos, Soren, Mar-Vell, Fury, Minn-Erva or any of the Kree team, the SI, and Natasha.

Talos
I would love backstory - we know the Skrulls lost their homeworld, but was he alive to see it or have they been on the run his whole lifetime? I would love to see anything with him meeting Soren, or how he met Mar-Vell and ended up trusting her enough to send all of his people off with her. I would also love something set in his years while he was separated - missions he was on, sneaking around and spying, how he handled missing his family, etc. I'd also love something set after the movie - where are they going, trying to find other cells of Skull survivors, etc. Or visiting Earth again, I would love him messing with Keller! I love the Skrulls in the movie generally and would love any kind of world building or slice of life about how they live, and in what ways Talos is normal and what things set him apart. For ships, I like him with Soren, Carol, Fury, and Mar-Vell, or any combination of those people!

Ava Starr
I love her so much, and I would love either terrible tragic backstory or sweet recovery and making friends fic/art for her! I would love something with her as a child with Bill, or being forced into questionable missions for SHIELD, or trying to figure out a way to fix herself. Or what is her life like now that she's been stabilized? How does she feel about being able to really touch people for the first time in years? Or just live and walk around without being in pain? How does she feel about the past things she's done? And what is she doing with her life now that she has real choices? Ship-wise I like her with Hope and Janet, and I'd also love to see her interacting more with Bill and Hank. Or Ava/Janet/Hank or Ava/Hope/Scott! Or send her to the Avengers with Wanda or to space with Carol!



POKÉMON DETECTIVE PIKACHU
Tim Goodman & Detective Pikachu
I would love something about their relationship, either when Tim is younger or after Harry has his memories back, or when he’s Detective Pikachu! I also really love Ryme City - I would love anything about them exploring it together, or Pikachu/Harry explaining how things work to Tim. Or I would really love Tim’s failed attempts at becoming a pokemon trainer!!! Or I would love to see him trying to find a pokemon partner of his own after the movie. Or, I know Harry ended up back in his own body, but I would love him getting stuck as Pikachu again! Maybe it just keeps happening and he and Tim have to figure out new fixes for it. I would also really love Tim and his father working together - as detectives, as just a sounding board, or maybe Tim goes into journalism or science or becomes a pokemon expert or something that’s useful in cases?



ROGUE ONE
Jyn Erso
I would love fic of her as a kid - what was it like right after she got picked up by Saw? Or later, what was it like when she realized he'd abandoned her and she was really on her own? I'd also love anything that goes into her various misadventures before the move begins! Or anything that deals with her emotions after hearing Galen's message, or after seeing Saw again, and how that plays into her abandonment issues. Or an AU where she's caught and discovered earlier! What would have happened to her if Krennic had found her? Or had taken her along with Galen on Lah'mu? Or I'd love something where she survives, but still has to deal with the trauma of what she's been through, or she still has terrible things happening to her as she fights the Empire. Or what if she lives long enough to see the rise of the First Order? I would love so see more of her interacting with Galen, Lyra, or Saw, and for ships, if you want to write ship fic, I'd love her with Cassian, Bodhi, Krennic, Enfys, Qi'ra, Aphra, Luke, Leia, and Mon Mothma.

Galen Erso
He spent so much of his life in captivity! I’d love something set prior to the movie’s start, either taking into account the novel or just coming up with an entirely different backstory for him and how he met Lyra and Krennic and got so deeply involved in everything and then decided to bail on it. Either something with an impending sense of doom on Coruscant, or something with him and Lyra raising Jyn once they’ve made it to Lah’mu. I would also love something about what happens after he’s captured! Is it straight to Eadu or were there other compounds and labs and places Krennic had him before then? Did go straight for subterfuge, or was there a breaking in period? Also reunion fic! Something where he survives, or he at least has enough strength to hug Jyn before dies! I would love to see more of him with his family, and for ships I like him with Lyra, Krennic, Bodhi, Saw, Cassian, and Chirrut & Baze.

Bodhi Rook
I’d love something about his life on Jedha, and how he ended up wanting to join the Imperial service and how he felt about how that whole thing went - was it always his only option, was he hopeful about it as a way to move up in the world and get disillusioned, does he think his job isn’t great but it’s still better than his alternatives? What happened with Galen, and what made him the kind of person who would basically upend his whole life like that? I would also love more of him dealing with the Bar Gullet, or what might have happened to him if he’d found the Rebellion instead of the Partisans. Or a million AUs where he survives! Where he’s the only one to survive and has no idea what to do, where everyone else survives and he has this new group of people he’s suddenly tied to, what does he decide to do with his life from that point on? For relationships/shipfic I like him with Galen, Jyn, more drama with Bor Gullet/Saw, and Luke.

Cassian Andor
I always love backstory! There’s so much ground to cover with his childhood on Fest, and how he got involved with the rebellion and how he ended up working for Draven. And how he ended up with an Imperial droid! I really want to know how that happened, and if everyone else thought he was insane. I’d love him running missions prior to Rogue One, and I’d love him running into other Star Wars characters in that time frame - Ahsoka, Aphra, Leia, etc. Or something that focuses on him finding about about Jyn and/or Galen and trying to hunt them down - some AU of the movie would be great, or just something where he lives. If he lives I want to know what happens to him next! Now that he has so many people! He always seems to me like a person who was on the edge of spiraling apart right as the movie starts, so I’d like to see him try and pull himself back together in the aftermath. If you’d like to write ships (or interpersonal gen, whichever), I’d love to see him with Jyn, K-2, Dravits, Orson, Galen, Leia or Saw.



STAR TREK TOS
McCoy & or / Spock
I love the two of them, and how much they clearly care about each other and how deep their friendship goes even when neither of them ever wants to say it out loud. I’d like any point in their relationship - earlier on, when they don’t know each other as well and there is more actually irritation and mistrust in how they interact, or later once they’ve fallen into their rhythm. Or after the movies, when McCoy has had Spock’s soul stuck in him for a while! I love all the traditional mission fic - strange new worlds, experiments gone wrong, time travel, body swaps, weird xeno side effects, struggling against mind control, all of it. Or I would love one of them taking care of the other while they’re injured! Or reconnecting again, maybe after the end of the first movie, or later once Spoke is recovering. I’d also love anything dealing with the Mirrorverse, and their mirror-selves and the aftermath of those experiences.



STAR TREK DISCOVERY
Michael Burnham/Mirror!Philippa Georgiou
I would love to know what the future holds for them! I would love something set after season two and whatever they find there, with all the complicated feelings between them, where Philippa clearly loves her and wants to protect her but is also still really clearly a terrible person who enjoys a lot of things Michael finds repellant. I would also love them after Philippa has joined Section 31 and they run into each other while they’re running missions. Or, I would love more of them interacting in the Mirror Universe - maybe Michael gets caught earlier, maybe the Discovery never escapes. What if Michael had been stuck there? I’d also love to know more about what really went down with Mirror Michael, and how that affects how Mirror Philippa sees Prime Michael.

Michael Burnham & Philippa Georgiou & Saru
I would love more of their earlier interactions as a group - how did Saru and Michael both react to each other at first, was Philippa trying to get them to be friends, what ways do they both look up to her and both have that very personal relationship with her? They’re both coming from alien societies and Philippa’s the person guiding them when they’re in a new human environment. Or I love any away missions! Experiments gone wrong, accidentally stepping into alien political situations, running into new and unknown species! I would also love more around the time of Binary Stars, and more of that interaction where they all want the best for the ship/the federation/each other but they all have very different ideas of what that looks like. Or, Michael and Saru go on a rescue mission after Philippa is captured! Or Philippa and Saru dealing with Michael being in prison for mutiny. I would also love AUs where Philippa doesn’t die, or they find a way to bring her back somehow.



SUCKER PUNCH
Amber/Blondie
I loved them, and I love the layers their are to how they’re perceiving their reality - I like them in the movie, where it switches, or I would also love a story spent entirely in one of those realities - in the institution, in the brothel, or in one of the various fantasy world. Or make up a new fantasy world! Maybe they have different fantasy lives than Baby Doll did. Or even different from each other. They seem very tight at the beginning of the movie - how did they meet, how did they become friends? How did they end up there in the first place? I would also love an AU where they survive! Either they escape, or retreat back into some kind of fantasy together, or maybe one escapes and comes back for the other.
